What do you eat for Christmas morning breakfast?

Is it too early to ask this question?

I'm just thinking ahead, and am in the mood to try something new.

Our family will all gather here at the Stone House for Christmas Dinner, but Christmas breakfast will be a fairly small affair. All of our Children live somewhere in the Basin, and most will spend Christmas morning at their own homes, enjoying their little families and their own family traditions.

We have tried a plethora of good things for Christmas breakfast, some of them easier to fix, some we liked better than others.

BUT, I'm in the mood for something new.

SO, what do you fix for this meal? I would love to hear your ideas!

Marie over to Spun by Me, has made these way cute mitten ornaments. There is a link there for the tutorial. I like 'em.

Just busy days here at the Stone House. I think the days are the same at your homes as well.

I'm so thankful for my DH. I don't really understand how I caught him, but I'm going to hang on to him FOREVER! :-)

Enjoy your day!

Sorry I don't have a recipe to share - we buy special Swedish coffee cake for our simple breakfast. It's tradition and so easy especially now that it's just the 2 of us in the morning.

This bread is delicious, it might be a little bit sweet for a breakfast though..I don't think it's any sweeter then cinnamon rolls though! Love Caralee

We always eat toast with white sauce and eggs over them. My kids love it. It was my a tradition my hubby brought with him. Love, Joy

Thanks for the link to my mittens! They were such fun to make. I've been busy in my craft room for the past week (except for the time spent at my 9-5 job) making all sorts of things!
Hmmmmm...Christmas breakfast? We usually have egg frittata and asparagus and some kind of coffee cake. This year we're having Brian's Apple Brownies ~ it's more like coffee cake than brownines! You can read the recipe on my blog. here's the link.
